TAS Tenter Machine Inline
The TAS tenter machine is an AI inspection solution that can be installed
onto the tenter frame, which is used in the final inspection process stage.
The TAS can perform automatic, real-time inspection and also creates
inspection reports, effectively eliminating the need for a final check of the
tenter inspection (only the high-speed rolling function can be performed).
Common Applicable Defects
Mold clogging, contamination, discoloration, tearing,
scrape, friction, unevenness, etc
Unlike conventional inspection machines, the TAS enables the tenter machine to perform fast
and accurate unmanned inspection of defects that took place in the dyeing process.
Since the automatic inspection and inspection report are complete in real time during tentering,
there is no need for additional personnel to conduct visual inspections at the end of the tenter process.
The customer can reduce the cost of expensive outsourcing tests by securing manufacturers'
trust in the credibility of the SUALAB AI inspection report.
High-speed inspection is made possible in Tenter machine.
You don’t need to change existing machine or work flow.
You can adjust the defect detection levels (A, B, C) so as to avoid unnecessary inspection of certain defect levels.
The artificial intelligence technology allows the machine to optimize itself
even if prpoduct types or defect criteria change.
The solution not only detects the presence of defects but also can classify the defect type,
contributing to improvement of the overall process.
Inspection of various complex images is possible.
A 4-Point System inspection report is created.
If the machine automatically detects a defect, wouldn’t it result in too many detections?
No. You can set the detection class (A, B, C) for each textile type.
For instance, you can assign an “A” grade for the textile that needs to be relatively more strict about catching defects,
and a “C” for the types that can afford to be less stringent. In addition, the SUALAB AI technology does not repeat
the same mistake as long as there is a simple input from the operator at the start of the test. Ultimately,
the solution operates with detection standards that are as solid as would be had by a human inspector.
Is there a limit on the types of textile that can be inspected?
With the TAS tenter machine, operations is primarily centered on the dyeing process.
Within the dyeing process inspection, testing is possible for all textile types.
The TAS tenter machine's printing process inspection capability is expected to be released in the future.
Do I need to make any changes to my existing processes if I were to install TAS?
You do not.
TAS is installed on existing production equipment, such as the printing machine and tenter frame.
It enables real-time inspection while maintaining the appropriate process speeds.
